Jim Kabel, owner of Case San Jose, was inspired to start our business based on personal experience. His frustration with the lack of local contractor interest and capability in smaller projects at his home drove him to “retire” from high tech after spending 25 years.   His goal was to bring a stronger level of responsiveness and client care to home improvement.   He believed Case has the right model to do this with guaranteed quality.

We have two dedicated in-house designer to help our clients choose layout options and select materials. To ensure quality and professionalism, we only hire security-cleared, experienced craftsmen with a broad variety of experience in residential remodeling and repair.  We also back our work with a 2-year warranty.  And we’re a part of Case, one of the premier organizations in residential remodeling in the U.S.”
 
In addition, Jim says, “Our in-house design capabilities, project management, and lead carpenter model enable us to completely design, manage, and build your project from start to finish. We’re a licensed and insured general contractor and work with several highly skilled trade specialist subcontractors so we can be a one-stop solution for a wide range of repair and remodeling needs.”
 
All of this adds up to an impressive track record of customer satisfaction.  We’ve earned Diamond Certification in two remodeling categories for seven consecutive years and we’re highly rated on Angie’s List, winning the coveted Angie’s List “Super Service” Award in 2007 through 2010.  From our customer satisfaction surveys conducted by Guild Quality, we’ve been recognized as a Guild Master award winner in both 2010 and 2011.

We’ve  also been recognized as one of the Top 500 U.S. Remodeler’s in Qualified Remodeler Magazine in from 2007 - 2010.  Also, in the last five years, eleven of our remodeling projects have won “META Awards” from the  Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). And perhaps the best measure of our performance is that after 6 years, nearly two-thirds of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients.
